NC Service sells and install the bridge type milling machine CORREA FP40/40S

This bridge type CORREA milling machine, not only offers an excellent combination between rigidity and the dynamic performance characteristic of a machine of this build, but it also has extraordinary reliability and robustness. What´s more it features a UAG auto-indexing orthogonal head with a maximum speed of 3,000 rpm and 2.5º in both planes, being interchangeable with a second head comprising a vertical spindle with a maximum speed of 5,000 rpm. Both heads offer a versatile, seamless machining solution to successfully cover a wide range of applications.

NC Service has sold and installed this milling machine at a company from Northern Ireland with more than 30 years´ experience in the sector and specialising in designing, machining, laser cutting and manufacturing. With a substantial working capacity, a wide range of machines for large diameter turning, milling, laser cutting and folding stainless steel parts, and a highly skilled, dedicated workforce, this company has managed to build an extensive portfolio of customers in industrial sectors such as energy, oil and gas, construction, food and electronics.

With an X axis travel of 4,000 mm, and 3,000 mm on the Y axis, and a clearance between tie bars of 2,500 mm, this milling machine is to be used for machining parts for a new project to be undertaken by this corporation with a duration of at least two years. This company was already working with a CORREA travelling column milling machine and, thanks to the purchase of this CORREA FP40/40S milling machine, it will now be in a position to increase the satisfaction of its existing customers and to secure new projects and new orders in the future.
