At the time, this type of CORREA CF25/25 milling machines offered an innovative design compared to other bed milling machines, thanks to its flexibility and advanced mechanical performance. As a result, this CORREA milling machines became a leader when it first came on the market.

This CORREA CF25/25 used milling machine is noted for its longitudinal travel of 2,500 mm and 1,000 mm on both its vertical and horizontal axes, marking a clear difference with other “CF” type models , and leading to more modern concepts such as the CORREA PRISMA or CORREA DIANA milling machines. It features roller type linear guideways for all directions of movement, providing high-speed travel of up to 20,000 mm/min. Furthermore, this milling machine was equipped with a manual head (U22) and HEIDENHAIN TNC-530 control unit.

Therefore, NC SERVICE performed the complete mechanical retrofitting of the main parts on the 3 axes of this milling machine, as well as the complete retrofitting of its manual milling head. The results were certified through the implementation of the geometry and accuracy protocols, which gave the expected results with the geometry with tolerances within 0.02 mm.

Once the retrofitting work of this CORREA CF25 was completed, the German company HSP Maschinen- & Stahlbau GmbH visited NC Service´s facilities, where it was able to see for itself the condition and performance of this milling machine, resulting in the decision to purchase this machine.

The company HSP was founded in 1999 and is dedicated to the steel construction of machines, with turning, milling and welding work among others, and with work ranging from design right up to manufacturing and logistics.

With the purchase of this CORREA milling machine, retrofitted by NC Service, the Germany company has increased its production capacity while continuing to guarantee to its customers the same characteristic quality.
