The full mechanical refurbishment of this 4 meters bed type CORREA A30/40 milling machine has ended and it is now ready to perform precision machining.
Second hand refurbished milling machine
The main refurbishment jobs carried out by Nicolás Correa Service for guaranteeing its machining reliability with the highest quality, are listed below:
- Disassembly of all structural elements for their complete inspection, replacing or repairing those damaged.
- Sanding, priming and new painting of all the elements, including the installation of a new guarding and new wipers for the telescopic guards.
- Replacement of bearings and preload of ballscrews on the three axes (X, Y, Z)
- Grinding of guides and manual adjustment by scraper on both the ram and the framework, and grinding of table’s surface.
- Inspection of all electronic elements and of Heidenhain TNC-407 control unit.
- Complete repair of the manual milling head, replacing bearings, gears and grinding the main shaft.
- Geometry setup and performance check in all the three axes using the machine geometry protocols.
