CORREA A30/40 refurbished milling machine sold in England
Nicolás Correa Service, S.A. has sold yet another second-hand CORREA milling machine in England. This is a CORREA A30/40 model, mechanically retrofitted at our facilities and sold to an English company during the COVID-19 lockdown.
NICOLAS CORREA refurbished milling machine by NC Service
This is the first purchase of a used CORREA milling machine by this English company, which placed its trust in the retrofitting experience of NC Service and which is now operating at full capacity with this fixed bench milling machine.
This CORREA A30/40 milling machine has a travel of 4000 mm on the X axis, 1200 mm on the Y axis and 1500 mm on the Z axis. It features a manual head, a new protective guard and an external coolant system. The CNC programming of this milling machine is made through a HEIDENHAIN TNC407 numerical control.
The refurbishing process of this CORREA milling machine was made at the NC Service facilities in Burgos, Spain. The mechanical retrofit involved the adjustment of the guideways, the pre-loading of the X, Y and Z spindle, the replacement of the bearings on the three axes, and a complete check of the electronics, motors, CNC and programming.
This newly-retrofitted machine was put on display in the NC Service Showroom, where this English customer enquired about it during the month of April 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown. Following its purchase, in early June, Nicolás Correa Service organised the transport to the customer´s facilities in southern England. The installation work counted at all times on the close collaboration of the customer, given the difficult global situation at the time and, in early July, the commissioning was finally completed with the help of our technicians.
From then onwards, the customer has been enjoying the guarantee and reliability of a CORREA milling machine refurbished by NC Service. Good news for these difficult times!
