The North American customer PRECO, INC. buys an ANAYAK milling machine retrofitted by NC Service
It is well known that our work to retrofit used machinery at NC Service Milling Machines, S.A., is solely based on leading brands of CNC milling machines. On this occasion, an ANAYAK travelling column milling machine was purchased by this U.S. company, following a mechanical retrofitting.
Retrofitting of used ANAYAK CNC milling machines by NC Service
The company PRECO, INC. is a leader in the design and manufacture of automated processing systems for cutting, perforating, welding, and other specialized industrial processing applications. With its proprietary die cutting and laser-based manufacturing capabilities, this company has become one of the largest contract manufacturing service providers in North America.
The die cutting division, located at the company´s headquarters in Kansas, contacted NC Service to enquire about the used ANAYAK HVM2300 milling machine offered for sale. This travelling column milling machine, featuring a longitudinal travel of 2 meters, a manual head and HEIDENHAIN TNC415 numerical control, was mechanically retrofitted and repair by NC Serviceand then subjected to protocols to check its geometric accuracy in order to certify its excellent condition.
The ANAYAK HVM2300 milling machine offers complete CNC programming and different types of milling capabilities which, together with other similar CNC systems, will be used by PRECO in the manufacture of its die cutting machines, with particular mention of the following equipment:
- PRECO 4-post flat bed die cutter with optics, for which the CNC ANAYAK will be used to produce high-precision plates and machine elements critical to producing presses capable of through-cutting and kiss-cutting graphics, adhesive tapes, electronic circuits, medical devices, abrasive materials, and many other applications.
- PRECO RCP DL die cutter, a rotary converting platform with dual lasers, which supports the latest technology and innovative mechanical designs available on the market.
This ANAYAK milling machine was installed in summer 2021 by the actual customer, who is now enjoying all the benefits of the machining quality and accuracy of this milling machine, after being retrofitted by our technicians.
